Year after year, the photographs in the Mercedes-Benz Classic Calendar invite the viewer to dream: for twelve whole months, the calendar takes them into a pictorial world of classic Mercedes-Benz automobiles. The new calendar for 2019 now offers an entirely new dimension, as the calendar pictures can be supplemented by digital content using the Daimler Experience app on smartphones and tablets. Under the title “#MBclassic – A new Classic experience”, there are fascinating calendar stories that cut across the various media. Moving photos of classic cars with the three-pointed star are brought to life by matching moving images.

The Monterey Car Week has long since been much more than just the most exclusive classic car event in the world. At no other event is the scenery so perfect or the spectrum from the day before yesterday to tomorrow so wide – the best example: the spectacular models by Mercedes-Benz.

At the IAA 2016, Mercedes-Benz Trucks was the first manufacturer in the world to show a heavy-duty electric truck. The technology leader has now moved on a step with its comprehensively refined eActros, which celebrated its world premiere in 2018: its deployment with customers began a short while ago. The first eActros of the so-called innovation fleet has been in practical trial for one customer since September already. The subsequent vehicle handovers from the first phase of the project will follow until the end of the year.
