Highlight of the fair is the new CLA.

Daimler’s trade fair exhibition at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas (CES; 8 to 11 January 2019) will be focussing fully on the outlook on the future of mobility. Highlights include the world premiere of the new CLA, US premieres of the battery-electric EQC as well as the revolutionary Vision URBANETIC mobility concept plus essential news about the Daimler Trucks’ strategy for automated trucks. After the Mercedes-Benz press conference, Sajjad Khan, Member of the Divisional Board of Mercedes-Benz Cars, CASE and Vice President Digital Vehicle & Mobility, will be giving an insight into the current developments within the context of the Daimler-wide CASE digitalisation strategy – Connected, Autonomous, Shared & Service and Electric Drive. In the afternoon, Wilfried Porth, Member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG and Human Resources and Director of Labour Relations at Daimler AG’s Mercedes-Benz Vans, will be explaining the future of mobility using Vision URBANETIC as an example.

The new-generation Sprinter is a true transformation artist and allows a huge variety of options. New features such as the front-wheel drive and digital networking vastly simplify work for courier fleets. For example, the fleet manager and drivers can exchange messages sent directly to the vehicle via smartphone app. The analysis options offered by the new Sprinter also optimise courier services – this enables, for example, the digital logs of different drivers to be compared.
