Pioneer in safety assistance systems for trucks.

Mercedes-Benz Trucks presented the prototype of the Sideguard Assist as early as 2014. The system has been available on the market since 2016 and is now installed in around every third new Actros and Antos purchased in Germany. In Berlin, the assistant was now demonstrated to journalists on a practice area in an everyday turning situation at a traffic light. This exercise illustrates how other road users can be effectively protected.
