The new design focusses on comfort and refinement, the mainstays of the Mercedes-Benz brand. The range of tech savvy safety selections and self-driving options include a choice of five driving modes, active parking assist, agility control with comfort suspension and collision prevention technologies that maintain driver and passenger safety at the highest of standards. Exterior mirrors fold away electronically for safer parking, are heated to ensure visibility in all weather conditions and adjustable electronically from the driver’s position. Halogen headlamps incorporate LED daytime running lamps to make sure you can see and be seen day or night. Rain-sensing windscreen wipers provide enhanced vision and safety also.

The interior comprises of a good range of adjustability to the C-Class driving position, with seat height, backrest and lumbar adjustment plus vertical and horizontal steering wheel alteration coming as standard. Luxurious electro-pneumatic four-way lumber support seats for the driver and passengers include adaptable seating depth support of up to 3 inches for those with longer legs. Heated seats give further indulgence that’s welcome on colder days. The 10.3 inch touch controlled infotainment screen mounted on the dashboard is slick, fast and intuitive and contains a sat-nav, interior controls, performance information and digital radio. Two USB sockets and the three-spoke multifunction touch-button steering wheel complete the entire package that’s finished with stylish fabrics, leather and high-gloss trims. ← read less
